Not Me, Monday!

Hmm..... I certainly did NOT let a whole week of blogging go by without a single post?!

Since I am fairly certain that I am going to be a regular Not Me, Monday poster I have placed the Not Me, Monday link to MckMama's blog in my sidebar. How's that for commitment?!

Ok, so this past week I did not waste 3hrs of valuable time to do some much needed cleaning and/or goal writing (see previous post) in favor of blog reading and planning and Facebooking before needed to take my son to the doctor.

While at the doctor I did not insist that my son stay strapped to my body in the Babyhawk mei tai carrier so that I could minimize to the utmost extent the risk that he might touch something and contract the H1N1 virus even though there are no reported cases of said virus in the area we were in.

I did not scream like a little girl while trying to put my daughter in the car when I thought a bee was going to fly into the car at the exact moment that I was about to plop her in the seat. That scream that I did not let out certainly didn't scare my daughter or my son to send them both crying and prompt my 4 year old to ask me why I "freaked out"?

I did not resort to giving my son chicken fries and french fries three times for dinner because it is something that he will essentially eat without coaxing so that I could have a break form the food fight that usually ensues at dinner.

I did not leave my sink full of dishes for an entire week under the frame of mind that they were just too dirty to deal with because it would take forever and being with the kids and in front of the tv...er, I mean with my husband, was way more important than lean dishes.

I did not skip a meeting with my mentor on Wednesday in favor of an hour of silence at my house before getting the kids from daycare.

and....

I did not use a used sock to temporarily wipe my sons poopy butt because he surprised me with a full diaper when I really thought he was just wet and I did not have any wipes in reach or anyone to get any more me. I did not remove said sock from his foot and proceed to remove the surprise until such time that a wipe became available....

NOPE, NOT ME!
