Old Man Winter showing his ugly face

Ok. So I'm a Winter Widow. You can read all about it in my previous post. I'm OK with being a Winter Widow. What I am not OK with is when Old Man Winter threatens to ruin a fun occasion by choosing to give us snow when I have something fun planned to do with my family.

Each year (or most years when someone is crazy enough to host it) my family has a big Christmas party. In the last few years the family Christmas party has conveniently fallen on weekends when the Elks Christmas Party happens. This is nice because it saves us a trip to Rumford and allows us to get more done in one weekend. For the last two years Chris has not been able to attend these annual parties with us because of snow, and it is looking like the same will hold true for this year.

News 8, WMTW has just forcast snow and yucky weather for early Sunday. Just in time to ruin the chances of us spending time at the family Christmas party as a family.

I'm so irritated. Looks like another "blue Christmas" party without you again, dear.
