4-Wheeling with the Hubby

I had never been on a 4-Wheeler until my husband purchased one in May of '04. It still took a couple of years before I was willing to try it! But, now I love it and it has been a recreational activity that Chris and I can do together. In this world of financial hardship and the general stress of life, Chris and I can sometimes find it difficult to relate to many things so non-kid 1:1 time is super beneficial for our relationship.

Anyway, recently while on our yearly vacation to Northern Maine, we stole away for a quick 4-Wheeling trip. The scenery up there is breathtaking and you never know what beautiful picturesque scene might be waiting for you. Rolling rivers, mountain streams and other beautiful natural landscapes await.
On this particular trip we happened upon a trail which gave some decent views of Mt. Katahdin, the tallest mountain in Maine, and the end point of the Appalachian Trail. Mt. Katahdin stands seemingly out of no where as from certain view points it appears to stand alone among the fields.
